Hubungan Dukungan Sosial Keluarga dengan Self Esteem Pekerja Seks Komersial yang Direhabilitasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dengan self esteem pekerja seks komersial yang direhabilitasi. Partisipan yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang, yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiyono (2014).Dukungan sosial keluarga dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Cutrona (1987) sedangkan selfesteem menggunakan teori Coopersmith (1967).Peneliti menggunakan metode skala sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data partisipan, skala yang digunakan yaitu skala dukungan sosial keluarga dan coopersmith self-esteem inventory dengan teknik analisa data korelasi product moment. Pada pengolahan data diperoleh koefisien korelasi 0,610 dengan nilai sig. = 0, 000 (p < 0,005) yang berarti ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dengan self esteem pada PSK yang direhabilitasi.

This research uses the type of correlative research. The aim is tofigure out the correlation of social support to ward the self esteemof the sex workers who has been rehabilitated. Am ount of total participants is 55 participants,who were chosen using saturated sampling technique (Teknik Sampling Jenuh) that were discovered by Sugiyono (2014). Family social support in this research uses Theory of Cutrona (1987), where as the self esteem uses the Theory of Coopersmith (1967). Researcher uses scale method as the tool to gather the data of the participants. Scale used is social supports cale and Coopersmith self-esteem inventory with data analysis technique of product moment correlation. The tabulation of the data shows that the correlation coefficient 0,610 with the number of sig= 0,000 (p<0,005), which means that there is a correlation between social support and self esteem of the rehabilitated sex workers.
