Abstract: The challenges faced by students in bilingual education is not easy to deal with. It is faced by Papuan PK3N students. Especially dealing with different languages and cultures. It makes students cannot focus and comfortable when learning English in the classroom. Therefore, this study aims to find challenges faced Papua PKP3N students while studying English bilingual classroom at LTC, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Ten Papuan PKP3N students were interviewed. The interviews were conducted individually. The data have been collected and then grouped according to the difference as Wet (2005) did in his research. The results of this study found that in bilingual education students often get challenges such as language differences like the use of local language, cultural differences, and asynchronous development. After finding the challenges, hopefully, the language teachers can be aware of the teaching language in different places and cultures area. Then, this study could help the language teachers to cope with the challenges faced by the students.
