Abstract: Sindrom Metabolik (SM) adalah suatu sindrom yang terdiri dari sekumpulan gejala yang terjadi pada sistem kardiometabolik seperti kelebihan berat badan, tekanan darah tinggi, resistensi insulin dan kadar gula darah yang tinggi. Kondisi-kondisi ini kemudian mempengaruhi timbulnya beragam penyakit antara lain jantung, obesitas, hipertensi dan diabetes mellitus (DM). Salah satu penyebab utama munculnya sindrom metabolik adalah gaya hidup sedentari yang dicirikan dengan kurangnya aktivitas fisik. Aktivitas fisik merupakan kegiatan setiap orang yang dilakukan sehari-hari, yang melibatkan gerakan tubuh sehingga dapat menimbulkan peningkatan kinerja otot. Tujuan penelitian untuk menggambarkan aktivitas fisik penderita penyakit kardiometabolik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitif deskriptif dengan responden penelitian yaitu penderita Sindrom Metabolik di Puskesmas Cebongan yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner GPAQ Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagian besar responden memiliki aktivitas ringan sebanyak 18 (36%) responden, golongan aktivitas sedang sebanyak 14 (28%) responden dan golongan aktivitas berat sebanyak 18 (36%) responden. Gambaran pada penderita Sindrom Metabolik yaitu sebanyak 50 orang di Puskesmas Cebongan Salatiga, tetap mampu melakukan aktivitas fisik melalui kegiatan dan pekerjaan yang dilakukan setiap hari. Terdapat perbedaan hasil pada setiap jenis aktivitas yang dipengaruhi oleh usia, jenis kelamin dan pekerjaannya.
Metabolic Syndrome is a group of disease that occur in the cardiometabolic system such as obesity, high blood pressure (pre hypertension or hypertension) and diabetes mellitus (DM). These three health problem are metabolic diseases that are interconnected and has the same main cause as lifestyle. The patient would had metabolic syndrome if they are have those disease which caused by lack of activity. Physical activity is a activity that used to be done daily which involves body movements using energy that increased muscle performance. The aim of the study to describe physical activity of patient with metabolic syndrome. The research used descriptive quantitative method with research respondents, namely patients with Metabolic Syndrome at Cebongan Health Center who are in accordance with the inclusion criteria. The data was collected by using GPAQ questionnaire. The results of the study showed that there were 18 (36%) respondents of mild activity, 14 (28%) respondents in the moderate activity group and 18 (36%) respondents in the heavy activity group. The description of patients with Metabolic Syndrome, which is as many as 50 people in the Cebongan Health Center Salatiga, still able to carry out physical activities through activities and work carried out every day. There are differences in results for each type of activity that is influenced by age, gender and occupation.
