Gambaran Aktivitas Fisik dan Kejadian Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Getasan

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus adalah penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan kadar gula darah yang tinggi (hiperglikemia) diakibatkan oleh gangguan sekresi insulin dan resistensi insulin. Gula merupakan salah satu sumber energi yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh, jika berlebihan dapat menyebabkan Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 sehingga kebiasaan konsumsi gula perlu dibatasi dan diimbangi dengan kegiatan aktivitas fisik. Tujuan penelitian Ini adalah mengetahui gambaran aktivitas fisik dan kejadian Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Getasan. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer melalui wawancara langsung dengan responden dan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku profil kesehatan puskesmas Getasan. Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel diolah secara deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis dilanjutkan dengan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian tentang gambaran aktivitas fisik pada penderita DM tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Getasan menyatakan bahwa jenis kelamin perempuan 68% lebih besar dibandingkan laki-laki hanya 32%, usia responden banyak 40 tahun ke atas 93%, pendidikan dengan kategori tamat SD kebawah 57%, pekerjaan responden lebih banyak ibu rumah tangga 24%, responden dengan riwayat DM hanya 32%, indeks massa tubuh dengan kategori kelebihan berat badan 50% dan aktivitas fisik responden lebih banyak menenmpati kategori aktivitas sedang 66%. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa gambaran aktivitas fisik pada penderita DM tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Getasan lebih banyak menenmpati kategori aktivitas fisik sedang sebanyak 66% disebabkan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi salah satunya yaitu kurangnya melakukan olahraga dikarenakan responden memiliki kesibukan yang tidak bisa ditinggalkan seperti bertani.

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia) caused by impaired insulin secretion and insulin resistance. Glucose is one of the energy sources needed by the body, if excessive can cause type 2 Diabetes Mellitus so that glucose consumption habits need to be limited and balanced with physical activity. The purpose of this study was to describe the physical activity and incidence of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Getasan Health Center Working Area. The method of this research is descriptive with a cross sectional design. Data collection techniques uses primary data through direct interviews with respondents and secondary data obtained from the health profile book Getasan health center. Data presented in the form of tables are processed descriptively in the form of written words followed by conclusions. The results of the study on the description of physical activity on type 2 DM patients in Getasan Health Center Working Area stated that female sex were 68% greater than men only 32%, 93% of respondents were 40 years old and above, respondents in the education category graduated from elementary school and below were 57 %, 24% of these respondents were housewives, respondents who have history of DM only 32%, body mass index with overweight category were 50% and physical activity of respondents more occupy on the medium physical activity category were 66%. From the results of the study, can be concluded that the description of physical activity in patients who have type 2 diabetes mellitus in Getasan Health Center Working Area are mostly on the category of medium physical activity as much as 66% due to several factors that influence. One of them is lack of exercise because these respondents have some activities that cannot be abandoned such as farming.
