Abstract: Framing is a selection process from various aspects of reality to a certain part of an event that is more prominent than other aspects. Giving emphasis on certain aspects is done according to the interest of the media. The aim is to bring out the perception of the public according to the framing formed by the media. This research was conducted to find out the framing made by two online newspapers, Detik.com and Kompas.com, in framing the news about cases of attacks on KPK investigators, namely Novel Baswedan. The framing analysis used in this study used four concepts of Robert N. Entman’s framing analisys. The results of this study indicate that the framing conducted by Detik.com that the sketches of the alleged perpetrators have not been revealed, which will make KPK employees the next target of terror. While the framing carried out by Kompas.com is an interest in the body of the police that influences the investigation and disclosure of the perpetrators.
