Abstract: The writer intends to portray the life of youth nowadays who suffer from perfectionism disorder in life, making them to function less than they used to be, and having suicidal thought. Some of them don’t realize that they got the symptom because mental health awareness is still considered as a taboo in Indonesia. The short story will be written using science fantasy that youth like to pay attention mixed with dangdut as Indonesian heritage. Dangdut is not music only for lower class culture, high class culture enjoy dangdut too. This assumption is based on the interest in dangdut shows on television stations. Dangdut are everywhere to be found, from politics campaign to entertainment (e.g. Dangdut Academy Indosiar) In 2013, Indosiar reached the highest television channel rating, this channel is known as Dangdut show channel. This rating was based on people’s vote online. (http:/www.selebupdate.com/rating-dacademy-3/27576). With the idea to put up futuristic theme, the writer wanted that more people, especially younger generation would see dangdut from television rating perspective. The writer believes that music could release stress and made some benefits in life, it is because there are many researches about this. One of them is from Drexel University, the results show that, compared to standard treatments, music reduced anxiety considerably based on clinical anxiety scores. Some trials reported much larger beneficial effects than others. A team of researchers from Drexel University analyzed evidence from 1,891 patients taking part in 30 trials. Thirteen trials used trained music therapists, while in the remaining 17 trials, patients listened to pre-recorded music. The results also suggest that music therapy may increase patients’ quality of life. There was some benefits in music for mood and pain, although not depression. Smaller beneficial effects were seen for heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure (Bradt et al. 2001).
