Strategy Maps pada Program Studi Akuntansi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana

Abstract

Satya Wacana Christian University are one from so many University that is well-known in the central Java and its main purpose is not for profit, but more of a providing services to the consumers. Therefore , the purpose of this essay is to build a strategy maps for the Accounting Major of the Satya Wacana Christian University. The strategy maps are builded using the Balanced Scorecard framework which the strategy are used for a comprehensive plan to integrate the long term purpose to actualize the vision and mission of an organization. The research are done by taking a sample on the student's data for four years, which is from year 2008-2011, taking about 25% sample from each years. Retrieval of the data are done by disseminating a questionnaire for the students, faculty staff, and then doing an interview to the registration section. From the research using the balanced scorecard concept, a conclusion can be made that there are several variant of achievements. The four perspective which is studied are good enough. Therefore, balanced scorecard method is suited to be applied in the Satya Wacana Christian University, Accounting Major, because the balanced scorecard can provides more structured and comprehensive representation.
