Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara grit dengan subjective well being pada siswa SMA Masehi 2 PSAK Semarang.
This study aims to determine the relationship between grit with subjective well being in 2nd high school students of PSAK Semarang. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a significant positive relationship between grit and subjective well being in 2nd high school students of PSAK Semarang. Participants in this study were all 2nd year high school students of PSAK Semarang, amounting to 86 students. Data collection is done by grit scale from Duckworth and scale of Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and positive affect and negative affect scale (HOT). Data analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation method. The results of the study show that Second Year High School students of PSAK Semarang fall into the high category for the grit variable of 40.70% while SWB is also in the high category with 48.84%. The hypothesis in this study is accepted so that there is a significant positive relationship between grit and subjective well being with r = 0.588 and significance value = 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that the higher the grit, the higher the subjective well being that belongs to the 2nd high school students of PSAK Semarang. On the contrary, the lower the grit, the lower the SWB owned by the 2nd high school students of PSAK Semarang.
