Abstract: When Bolaang Mongondow was ruled by a king in 1600s, woman was considered inferior to man. Since society was ruled by a king, who should be under controlled by a man, woman was considered incapable to do things which man usually done. During that time, woman was put as the object while man was the subject within the society. This thesis contains a short story about a woman's experiences as the object before a man, who is the subject in the story. This short story will portray the theory of second sex by Simone de Beauvior about Bolaang Mongondow woman as the object and man as the subject and how they were influencing each other.
