Abstract: This short story comprised about a young gay boy being faced by continuous problems included struggling to live in an unsupportive environment and to keep the family together. The story then also will show and discuss his life about how he tried to survive where he was about being rejected by society. To dig deeper of what he has been through, the story used Queer theory. With helped through similar book as Parents of the Homosexual by David K. Switzer, it allowed the story to get an entrenched understanding. This short story hopefully will redound the society’s understanding in order to appreciate and be more open of sexual orientations, therefore, hopefully it will also influence the society to reduce or end judging the homosexual people.
