Abstract: The Area of Sangiran Prehistoric Site, Central of Java was one of tourism area which have half of the society around were farmer. The soil of Sangiran area belongs to dry, less fertile, and easy to release the water but still manage for farming. The nature sources of Sangiran actualy provided the the mineral sources can manage to support the agricultural sector, among of those natural source was brines. The aims of this research was to measure the mineral contains and the quality of the mud from the brines. The result of quality assay of the mud from the brine of Pablengan village showed that COD 63 mg/L; BOD 1,25 mg/L; DO 1,79 mg/L; pH 7,4-7,8; Temperature 25,8 o C; TSS 97 mg/L; TDS 15.600 mg/L; Conductivity 31.500 µs/cm; Hardness as Mg 1.625 mg/L; Hardness as Ca 495 mg/L; Total Hardness 2.120 mg/L. The metal contains showed that Iron 0,98 mg/L; Mangan 0,057mg/L; Chrom 6+ 0,038 mg/L; Coper 1,32 mg/L. The mineral contains showed that Fluorine 0,02 mg/L; Chlorin 720 mg/L; Phosphate 1,3 mg/L; Nitrate 1,2 mg/L; Nitrite 0,003 mg/L; Ammonium 18,8 mg/L; Sulphate 0,00 mg/L; and Sulphide 29 µg/L. The result of quality assay of the mud from the brine of Krikilan village showed that COD 27 mg/L; BOD 3,20 mg/L; DO 3,65 mg/L; pH 7,7-7,8; Temperature 25,7 o C; TSS 13 mg/L; TDS 10.450 mg/L; Conductivity 21.050 µs/cm; Hardness as Mg 936 mg/L; Hardness as Ca 224 mg/L; Total Hardness 1.160 mg/L. The metal contains showed that Iron 0,07 mg/L; Mangan 0,008 mg/L; Chrom 6+ 0,020 mg/L; Coper 0,81 mg/L. The mineral contains showed that Fluorine 0,02 mg/L; Chlorine 2.780 mg/L; Phosphate 0,02 mg/L; Nitrate 1,2 mg/L; Nitrite 0,007 mg/L; Ammonium 26,70 mg/L; Sulphate 0,00 mg/L; and Sulphide 0,011. From the result concluded that the mud of the brines potentiality apply as mineral sources to increase the fertility and productivity of the farming area
Kawasan Situs Purbakala Sangiran, Jawa Tengah merupakan suatu daerah wisata yang masyarakatnya sebagian merupakan petani. Tanah daerah Sangiran sendiri merupakan tipe tanah kering, kurang subur dan mudah meloloskan air namun tetap diusahakan sebagai lahan pertanian. Kekayaan alam Sangiran sebenarnya menyediakan sumber mineral yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menunjang sector pertanian, salah satu bentuk kekayaan alam tersebut adalah mata air asin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kadar mineral serta mutu dari lumpur mata air asin. Dari hasil analisa mutu lumpur air asin desa Pablengan diperoleh COD 63 mg/L; BOD 1,25 mg/L; DO 1,79 mg/L; pH 7,4-7,8; Suhu 25,8 o C; TSS 97 mg/L; TDS 15.600 mg/L; DHL 31.500 µs/cm; Kesadahan Mg 1.625 mg/L; Kesadahan Ca 495 mg/L; Kesadahan Total 2.120 mg/L. Dari pengukuran kadar logam diperoleh kadar Besi 0,98 mg/L; Mangan 0,057mg/L; Krom 6+ 0,038 mg/L; Tembaga 1,32 mg/L. Dari pengukuran kadar mineral diperoleh kadar Florin 0,02 mg/L; Klorin 780 mg/L; Fosfat 1,3 mg/L; Nitrat 1,7 mg/L; Nitrit 0,005 mg/L; Amonium 18,8 mg/L; Sulfat 0,00 mg/L; dan Sulfida 34 µg/L. Dari hasil analisa mutu lumpur air asin desa Krikilan diperoleh COD 27 mg/L; BOD 3,20 mg/L; DO 3,65 mg/L; pH 7,7-7,8; Suhu 25,7 o C; TSS 13 mg/L; TDS 10.450 mg/L; DHL 21.050 µs/ cm; Kesadahan Mg 936 mg/L; Kesadahan Ca 224 mg/L; Kesadahan Total 1.160 mg/L. Dari pengukuran kadar logam diperoleh kadar Besi 0,07 mg/L; Mangan 0,008 mg/L; Krom 6+ 0,020 mg/ L; Tembaga 0,81 mg/L. Dari pengukuran kadar mineral diperoleh kadar Florin 0,02 mg/L; Klorin 2.811,0 mg/L; Fosfat 0,02 mg/L; Nitrat 1,8 mg/L; Nitrit 0,007 mg/L; Amonium 26,70 mg/L; Sulfat 0,00 mg/L; dan Sulfida 0,007. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa lumpur dari mata air asin berpotensi dijadikan sumber mineral yang dapat meningkatkan kesuburan serta produktifitas lahan pertanian.
