Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine environmentally friendly business behavior that is influenced by the institutional environment mediated by market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, environmentally friendly technology, organizational cultural values and to know that environmentally friendly business management is influenced by market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, environmentally friendly technology, organizational culture values mediated by environmentally friendly business behavior. Based on research gaps and empirical phenomena, the research problem is that there is no model that reviews in an aggregative and informative manner about things that encourage improvement in environmentally friendly business management in small businesses. Environmentally friendly business management is related to a number of actions related to preventing the use of raw materials and inefficient loss of raw materials, minimizing returning products, minimizing waste, saving water, saving energy, preventing accidents, and improving companies and operational and organizational procedures. The implementation is relatively easy and fast, low costs, and provides an attractive payback time. Thus, it is very suitable for SMEs or other types of organizations with low source efficiency. The unit of analysis in this study is environmentally friendly SME business catfish cultivation in Boyolali Regency and Semarang Regency, Central Java. Respondents of this study are environmentally friendly SME owners and managers. The data collection method used in this study is Purposive Sampling. In accordance with the multidimensional and tiered models developed in this study, the data analysis used is structural equation model (SEM). The conclusions of this study have succeeded in compiling an aggregative and informative model with institutional environment variables, market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, environmentally friendly technology and organizational culture values and environmentally friendly business behavior that encourages the improvement of environmentally friendly business management in small and medium enterprises. It can be said that the ability of environmentally friendly business behavior in explaining the management of environmentally friendly businesses is stated to be strong, meaning that farmers have environmentally friendly behavior and have a strong contribution to managing environmentally friendly businesses. Farmers adhere to their institutional environment and have market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, using environmentally friendly technology and having environmentally friendly organizational values that contribute strongly to environmentally friendly business behavior.
