Abstract: This study explored the students’ beliefs about English pronunciation and what they do to practice their pronunciation. The data for this study were collected from a semi-structured interview. There were 16 students from batch 2019 who were interviewed at Faculty of Language and Arts Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The analysis shows that the students considered English pronunciation important, although sometimes they had difficulties in pronouncing English words. They also had strategies to practice English pronunciation. This study should be helpful to the students to make them aware of the importance of good pronunciation. Furthermore, this study is expected to help the lecturers to be aware of the students’ beliefs and their strategies in learning English pronunciation.
