Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah eksterior (desain, nama, pemandangan, lingkungan sekitar) mempengaruhi preferensi konsumen terhadap hotel, untuk mengetahui apakah interior (peralatan, tata ruang, kesejukan dan kebersihan) mempengaruhi preferensi konsumen terhadap hotel, untuk mengetahui mana yang lebih kuat pengaruh ekterior atau interior terhadap preferensi. Data diperoleh dari 300 responden yang menginap di tiga hotel di Salatiga, yaitu Hotel Bringin, Hotel Laras Asri dan Hotel Wahid. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan pada hasil analisis data dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Eksterior berpengaruh positif terhadap preferensi konsumen hotel, dimana semakin baik eskterior (desain hotel, nama, pemandangan dan lingkungan sekitar) maka semakin kuat preferensi konsumen terhadap hotel. (2) Interior berpengaruh positif terhadap preferensi konsumen hotel, dimana semakin baik interior (peralatan, tata ruang, kesejukan dan kebersihan), maka semakin kuat preferensi konsumen terhadap hotel. (3) Dari variabel tersebut yang memiliki pengaruh terkuat pada preferensi konsumen adalah eksterior. This research purposed to analyze effect of exterior (design, name, scenery, environment) toward consumer preference, to analyze effect of interior (equipment, layout, coolness and cleanliness) toward consumer preference, to find out which one is stronger influence of exterior or interior toward preference Samples were 300 respondents who have stayed in three hotels in Salatiga, namely Hotel Bringin, Laras Asri Hotel and Hotel Wahid. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis Based on the results of data analysis in the previous section, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Exterior positive effect on consumer preferences hotel. So the better eskterior (hotel design, name, scenery and surroundings) the stronger the preference of consumers towards the hotel. (2) Interior positive effect on consumer preferences hotel. So the better interior (equipment, layout, coolness and cleanliness), the stronger the preference of consumers towards the hotel. (3) As seen from the largest regression coefficient is the exterior so it is said of these three variables that have the strongest influence on consumer preference is the exterior. |
