Abstract: | Perkembangan teknologi internet menyebabkan Facebook sebagai media sosial menghubungkan satu sama lain. Dengan menggunakan sosial media Facebook, orang-orang dapat berkomunikasi dengan mudah tanpa terbatas jarak dan waktu. Hal ini dimanfaatkan juga oleh komunitas ALGA, mereka membuat komunitas online di Facebook untuk membuat mereka saling berinteraksi dan berbagi pengalaman konsumsi mereka dengan mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan electronic word of mouth (eWOM) oleh anggota komunitas Aquascape Salatiga (ALGA) melalui media sosial Facebook. Penelitian ini merupakan analisis isi kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan dan dianalisis berupa screenshoot tiap postingan dan unggahan di komunitas online ALGA. Peneliti mengamati dan menganalisis postingan selama 6 bulan yaitu dari tanggal 19 Desember 2014 – 19 Juni 2015. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, penerapan dimensi eWOM yaitu Concern For
Other & Advice Seeking hanya sebesar 1 7,72 % , Extraversion/positive self-enhancement sebesar 25,20 % dan dimensi platform assistance sebesar 26,91 %. Hasil dari analisis isi di komunitas online ALGA menunjukkan sebagian besar aktivitas yang terjadi adalah kegiatan jual beli, sedangkan untuk penerapan eWOM yang dicerminkan oleh dimensi Concern for other, advice seeking, extraversion/positive self-enhancement kurang banyak dilakukan oleh anggota komunitas online ALGA. Dari hasil tersebut dapat menjelaskan bahwa sebagian besar anggota komunitas ALGA memanfaatkan platform Facebook sebagai kegiatan jual beli, sedangkan untuk penyebaran dimensi eWOM (Concern For Other, Advice Seeking, Extraversion/positive self-enhancement dan platform assistance) di komunitas online ALGA masih rendah. The internet technology development leads Facebook as social media connecting one other. By using social media Facebook, people can communicate easily without limited distance and time. It is also used by ALGA community. They create an online community on Facebook, so that make them interact and share experiences of their consumption easily. This study aims to determine how the implementation of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) by community members Aquascape Salatiga (ALGA) through the social media Facebook. This study is a qualitative content analysis. The data collected and analyzed in the form ofa screenshot of each post and uploaded on an online community ALGA. researchers observe and analyze the posts for 6 months from the date of 19 December 2014 – 19 June 2015. From the research, the application of eWOM dimensions namely Concern For Other & Advice Seeking only 17,72 %, Extraversion / positive self-enhancement of 25,20 % and assistance platform dimensions of 26,91 %. Results of content analysis in the online community ALGA showed most activity happens is buying and selling activities, while for the application eWOM reflected by the Concern for other dimensions, advice seeking, extraversion / positive self-enhancement less widely performed by members of the online community ALGA. From these results can be explained that the majority of community members ALGA utilize Facebook platform as the buying and selling activities, while for deployment eWOM dimensions (Concern For Other, Seeking Advice, Extraversion / positive self-enhancement and assistance platform) in the online community ALGA is low. |
