Abstract: Dewasa ini, banyak orang yang tidak memperhatikan resiko berbelanja dimanapun dan salah satunya adalah Pasar Maling Barito Semarang. Ternyata banyak orang yang sering dan memilih berbelanja di pasar gelap daripada pasar biasa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ingin mengetahui persepsi resiko dan preferensi konsumen dalam berbelanja di pasar Barito. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi kepada 10 orang responden yang pernah dan sedang pergi ke pasar Barito. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden dalam berbelanja di pasar Barito juga memiliki preferensi dan persepsi resiko yang berbeda seperti resiko fisik, resiko finansial, resiko social, resiko psikologis, dan resiko waktu sebelum memutuskan untuk membeli barang.
Nowadays, a lot of people don’t pay attention to the risk of shopping anywhere and one of them is the Barito market Semarang. But it turns out many people who frequent and select shopping on the black market rather than a regular market. In this study, researcher want to find out the perception of risk and preferences of consumers in shopping in the markets of Barito. This study uses qualitative methods with interviews and observations to those 10 respondes who had gone and once shopping to the market of Barito. The results showed that the respondents in the Barito market also have preferences and perception of the risks of such different physical risks, financial risks, social risks, psychological risks, and the risk of time before deciding to buy an item.
