Penerapan Soft System Methodology dalam Ekstraksi Pengetahuan tentang Akreditasi Universitas XYZ: Studi Kasus Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi

Abstract

Pengelolaan Perguruan Tinggi diperlukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas serta menjadi masukan kepada pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan terus berbenah memperbaiki universitas. Penelitian dengan menggunakan Soft System Methodology menjadi sangat penting karena dapat memetakan dan mengonsepkan model serta rencana untuk membantu Universitas XYZ dalam mengembangkan nilai akreditasinya. Dalam hal ini yaitu Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi di Universitas XYZ. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas XYZ memiliki alternatif pemasukan dana untuk pembangunan berbagai fasilitas dari berbagai pihak luar universitas sehingga bisa membantu percepatan pembangunan fasilitasi serta peningkatan kualitas dosen dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai akreditasi fakultas yang berdampak juga kepada universitas. Rekomendasi yang diberikan oleh peneliti adalah Fakultas dapat membentuk DSS (Decision Support System) berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara intranet untuk membantu merekam jejak perkembangan fakultas dan dapat menjadi dasar pengambilan keputusan.

The management of the Higher Education is necessary to improve the quality as well as be input to the interested parties to continue to improve the university. Research using soft system methodology is very important because it can map and develop models and plans to assist XYZ University in developing its accreditation value. In this case, the Faculty of Science and Technology at XYZ University. From this research, it was found that the Faculty of Science and Technology of XYZ University has an alternative income fund for the construction of various facilities from various outside the university so as to help accelerate the development of facilities as well as improve the quality of lecturers in order to increase the accreditation value of faculty that impacts the university as well. The recommendation given by researchers is that the Faculty can establish a web-based DSS (Decision Support System) that can be accessed intranet to help record the faculty's developmental footprint and can be the basis of decision making.
