Efikasi Diri Siswa SMP dalam Praktik Online Education sebagai Immediate Effect di Masa Pandemi

Abstract

Immediate Effect dari pandemi COVID-19 ini adalah berubahnya bentuk pembelajaran tatap muka di sekolah menjadi online education dalam bentuk Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) atau pembelajaran daring. Efikasi diri, yaitu kepercayaan individu akan kemampuannya, merupakan salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan PJJ. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana gambaran efikasi diri siswa/siswi SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga kelas VIII pada masa pandemi COVID-19 saat ini.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, sedangkan teknik yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Untuk mengetahui gambaran efikasi diri siswa digunakan kuesioner yang sudah divalidasi untuk kemudian digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data.

Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa/siswi SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga mempunyai efikasi diri yang tinggi dengan nilai persentase 70,81. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa/siswi SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga memiliki keyakinan yang baik terhadap kemampuan dirinya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran online.

The Immediate Effect of the COVID-19 pandemic is changing shape face-to- face learning at school becomes online education in its form Distance Learning or online learning. Self-efficacy, that is individual confidence in his abilities, is one of the determining factors for the success of the online learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent a description in the efficacy of eigth grader students of SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga during theis current pandemic.

The method used in the research is quantitative descriptive method, while the technique used is simple random sampling. To determine the description of the student self-efficacy, a validated questionnaire was used as a data collection tool.

The results of the study concluded that the students of SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga have high self-efficacy with a percentage value of 70.81. So it can be concluded that the students of SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga have a good confidence in their ability to participate in online learning.
