Pengaruh Pesan Pictorial Warning Pada Kemasan Rokok Terhadap Persepsi Bahaya Merokok dan Perilaku Merokok Mahasiswa: Studi Kasus Pada Mahasiswa Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh pesan pictorial warning pada kemasan rokok terhadap persepsi bahaya merokok dan perilaku merokok. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara membagikan sebanyak 150 kuesioner kepada para mahasiswa yang tergolong perokok aktif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) di program Amos v.18.0 . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan, 1) Pesan Pictorial Warning berpengaruh positif terhadap persepsi bahaya merokok mahasiswa, 2) Persepsi Bahaya Merokok tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswa, 3) Pesan Pictorial Warning tidak memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswa.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of pictorial warning messages on cigarette packs to the perception of the dangers of smoking and smoking behavior. The sample was student of Satya Wacana Christian University Salatiga. Data collection techniques were questionnaire by 150 questionnaires to students classified as active smokers. Data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) in Amos v.18.0 program. Based on the results of the study, this research 1) Pictorial Warning have positive effect on the perception of the dangers of smoking students, 2) Hazard Perception Smoking does not negatively affect smoking behavior of students, 3) Pictorial Warning do not have a negative influence on the smoking behavior of students.
