Tanggapan dan Harapan Perusahaan Peserta Job Fair Xxix di UKSW Terhadap Kualifikasi Fresh Graduate Fakultas Ekonomika Dan Bisnis UKSW

Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan dapat berjalan dengan baik merupakan buah hasil dari aktivitas produksi oleh sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki perusahaan. Langkah awal untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut adalah dengan melakukan rekrutmen dan seleksi, salah satunya adalah pelamar fresh graduate. Penelitian ini berisi tentang kualifikasi fresh graduate yang dituntut peusahaan peserta Job Fair XXIX di UKSW. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan jenis pekerjaan dan job deskrpisi yang ditentukan bag pelamar fresh graduate, job spesifikasi dari jenis pekerjaan yang dibuka untuk fresh graduate, tanggapan perusahaan terhadap pentingnya IPK dan soft skill dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi fresh graduate, tanggapan dan harapan pihak perusahaan mengenai kualitas fresh graduate. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam Job Fair XXIX di UKSW pada tanggal 31 Maret sampai dengan 1 April 2016. Sample penilitian ini adalah 16 perusahaan yang membuka lowongan pekerjaan untuk lulusan Fakulas Ekonomika dan Bisnis. Hasil penilitian ini menunjukkan jenis pekerjaan yang dibuka untuk fresh graduate Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis meliputi jenis pekerjaan dibidang manajemen umum, manajemen pemasaran, manajemen keuangan, manajmen HRD, dan jenis pekerjaan dibidang akuntansi. Job spesifikasi meliputi IPK dan pendiidikan, keterampilan komputer dan bahasa inggris, usia dan jenis kelamin serta soft skill. Keberadaan karakter kepribadian dan softskill yang dimiliki fresh graduate jauh lebih penting daripada IPK, tetapi IPK juga penting. Secara umum fresh graduate saat ini belum memiliki soft skill yang memadai namun untuk fresh graduate dari FEB UKSW sudah memiliki kualifikasi dan soft skill yang bagus.

A company can work well is the result of the production activity by the human resources of the company. The first step to achieve this is by making recruitment and selection, one of which is a fresh graduate applicants. This study contains fresh graduate qualification is required of participants Job Fair XXIX in SWCU. This study aimed to explain the type of work and job description prescribed for applicants fresh graduates, job specification of the type of work that is open to fresh graduates, the company's response to the importance of the GPA and soft skills in recruitment and selection process fresh graduate, feedback and expectation of the company regarding the quality of fresh graduate. This research method is qualitative. This research population is all companies participating in the Job Fair XXIX SWCU 31 March to 1 April 2016. The sample of this research are 16 companies that open up jobs for graduates Faculty of Economics and Business. The results of this research indicate the type of work that opened for fresh graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business include the type of work in the field of general management, marketing management, financial management, management HRD, and the type of work in the field of accounting. Job specification includes GPA and education, computer skills and English language, age and gender as well as soft skills. The existence of the characters personality and soft skills possessed fresh graduate is far more important than the GPA, but the GPA is also important. In general, fresh graduate does not currently have adequate soft skills but for the fresh graduate of FEB SWCU own qualifications and soft skills are good.
