Abstract: | Arsitektur Jaringan Peer-to-peer (P2P) baru dipopulerkan oleh File Sharing System milik Napster yang dirilis pada tahun 1999. Pada tahun 2004 diperkirakan ada 70 juta orang lebih berbagi file secara online. BitTorrent merupakan salah satu protokol yang paling umum untuk mengirimkan file berukuran besar, seperti file video digital yang berisi acara TV atau klip video maupun file audio digital yang berisi lagu. Kebutuhan suatu alat pendistribusian file yang berukuran besar, membuat terhambatnya kinerja di PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya. Sehingga diperlukannya perancangan suatu IOT Devices untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. BitTorrent digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi dikarenakan ketika banyak unduhan dari file yang sama terjadi secara bersamaan, Pengunduh dapat membantu melengkapi bagian unduhan kepada pengunduh lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempersingkat proses pengiriman file kepada banyak user dan mengurangi terjadinya file corrupt ketika pengiriman. Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah prototype sistem pendistribusian file yang dapat dimonitor proses pendistribusiannya menggunakan BitTorrent The Peer-to-peer (P2P) Network Architecture was popularized by Napster's File Sharing System which was released in 1999. In 2004 there were estimated 70 million people sharing files on the internet. BitTorrent is one of the most common protocols for sending large receiving files, such as digital video files that contain TV shows or video clips or digital audio files that contain a songs. The need for a larger file distribution tool has hampered performance at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya. therefore a design of an IoT Devices is needed to overcome these problems. BitTorrent is used to solve problems that occur where many downloads of the same file occur together, the Downloader can help complete the download section for other downloaders. This research are intent to improves the process of sending files to many users and reduces the sending of corrupted files. The results of this study are prototypes of file distribution systems that can be monitored by the distribution process using BitTorrent |
