Abstract: This research is focused on teachers at SMP N 4 Salatiga, one of the schools that conducts work from home activities, to ascertain teacher stress management strategies. This research processed primary data obtained by interviewing 5 research informants. The 5 research informants were chosen because they had experienced technostress. This research is a qualitative exploratory research. The results of this research indicate that the teacher performs stress management using short-term and long-term methods. Short-term strategies undertaken by the teacher such as washing face with water, drinking enough water, stretching, getting enough rest, etc. Meanwhile, the long-term strategy carried out by the teacher are worshipping according to their respective religions and doing physical activities such as sports, gymnastics, walking to jeep their mental condition healthy.
Penelitian ini difokuskan guru di SMP Negeri 4 Salatiga, salah satu sekolah yang melakukan kegiatan work from home, untuk mengetahui strategi pengelolaan stres guru. Penelitian ini mengolah data primer yang didapatkan dengan wawancara kepada 5 informan penelitian. Dipilihnya 5 informan penelitian tersebut karena telah mengalami technostress. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif eksploratif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru melakukan pengelolaan stress menggunakan metode jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Strategi jangka pendek yang dilakukan oleh guru seperti membasuh muka dengan air, meminum air putih yang cukup, melakukan peregangan, istirahat yang cukup, dll. Sedangkan strategi untuk jangka panjang yang dilakukan oleh guru yaitu rajin melakukan ibadah dan aktivitas fisik seperti olahraga, senam, dan jalan kaki untuk menjaga kondisi kejiwaan mereka tetap sehat.
