Abstract: Asia menunjukan fitur antropometrik dan metabolik khas sehubungan dengan risiko Diabetes melitus tipe 2.
Asia shows typical anthropometric and metabolic features related to the risk of type 2 Diabetes mellitus. An analysis of the anthropometric and metabolic risk factors of T2DM with a certain ethnic background is needed in Cluwak District, Pati Regency, Central Java with a case-control method, a sample of 160 respondents, consisting of 80 cases and 80 controls in the age group 34-44 & 45-55 years. The results of the study: age 35-44 years, in the case the values of BB, BMI, Lp, LPi, and RLPP were statistically significantly higher; body fat percentage and chemistry-clinical variables. The difference in values was wider for BMI and adiposity variables (Lp, LPi, RLPP, subcutaneous fat, WHtr), except for weight, height and WHtr which were significantly different in cases aged 45-54 years (p = 0.005). Chemical-clinical variables in the cases of both age groups were higher and significantly different. From the degree of risk, in cases aged 35-44 years, therewas an increase in the risk of BMI, RLPP, GDS, GDP, and TDS above the normal threshold (p>0.05). There was an increase in fasting blood glucose variability and the risk of hyperuricemia in patients with T2DM significantly at an older age (CV = 0.251; ODD ratio = 13.00; x2 = 0.001). The conclusion is that there is a significant increase in general obesity (BMI), adiposity, and clinical chemistry variables in Javanese women with T2DM in Kec. Cluwak. The increase in general obesity, especially adiposity, increases the risk of anthropometric and chemicalclinical variables in patients with T2DM. Thrifty phenotype is shown in patients with DMT2 in the 45-55 year age group.
