Ansietas, Depresi dan Stres pada Mahasiswa yang Telah Readmisi

Abstract

Latar belakang Readmisi memiliki dampak tersendiri bagi yang mengalaminya. Dampak tersebut meliputi faktor psikologis dan sosial yang menyebabkan terjadinya ansietas, depresi dan stres pada mahasiswa yang sudah habis masa studinya. Hal ini membuat seseorang untuk berusaha keluar dari kondisi yang tidak menyenangkan ini. Dalam keadaan seperti ini, sikap seseorang dapat menjadi motivasi untuk terus belajar, atau sebaliknya bisa menjadi tekananan untuk melanjutkan studinya. Tujuan untuk mengetahui depresi, ansietas dan stress pada mahasiswa yang telah readmisi masa studi. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak lima orang dengan teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara mendalam, catatan penelitian dan perekam suara. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) pada bulan Maret-Agustus 2021. Hasil Penyebab responden mengalami readmisi berbeda- beda yaitu keliru dalam pemilihan jurusan, kurangnya motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan pengerjaan skripsi Readmisi juga sangat mempengaruhi kondisi psikis dan sosial dari responden. Ada perubahan emosi yang dialami oleh responden yaitu yang dulunya sabar tiba-tiba sering marah. Responden juga sering menghabiskan aktivitas sehari-hari di dalam kamar karena tidak bersemangat dan merasa terbeban untuk melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Terdapat juga tiga tema yang akan dibahas yaitu penyebab readmisi, pengaruh readmisi terhadap hubungan sosial dan respon emosi dan suasana hati.Kesimpulan Responden mengalami kondisi stress kecemasan dan depresi akibat readmisi karena lalai maupun sudah melebihi batas waktu kuliah (7 tahun). Gejala sering menyendiri di kamar, menangis tanpa sebab dan adanya perubahan emosi yang dirasakan oleh responden. Interaksi sosial partisipan pun mengalami gangguan.
