Hubungan Ketahanan dan Kerawanan Pangan dengan Social Capital dan Food Choice di Kelurahan Kutowinangun Lor, Kecamatan Tingkir, Kota Salatiga

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan tingkat nasional saat ini menyita perhatian karena masih belum mencapai kata "ketahanan", ditandai dengan Indonesia masih impor pangan pokok dari Vietnam. Salah satu provinsi di Indonesia dengan tingkat ketahanan paling baik adalah provinsi Jawa Tengah 93%, tetapi tidak menjamin kondisi ketahanan pangan menyeluruh pada tingkat rumah tangga karena memiliki akses pangan yang berbeda-beda. Pemanfaatan social capital dapat mewujudkan ketahanan pangan terkait akses pangan, sehingga memudahkan masyarakat dalam pemilihan makan (food choice). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara ketahanan dan kerawanan pangan dengan sosial capital dan food choice rumah tangga di Kelurahan Kutowinangun Lor, Kecamatan Tingkir, Kota Salatiga. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebesar 48,4% responden masuk pada kategori rawan pangan berat. Sebesar 54,8% responden tidak aktif mengikuti organisasi desa dengan tingkat social capital yang sedang. Sebesar 71% responden memiliki pemilihan makan (food choice) yang cukup baik. Analisis Bivariat menunjukkan, tidak terdapat hubungan antara ketahanan pangan dengan social capital dengan hasil uji chi square sebesar 0,709, sedangkan untuk food choice dengan ketahanan pangan menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara keduanya dengan hasil uji chi square sebesar 0,015. Oleh karena itu, sebagian besar rumah tangga pra sejahtera di Kutowinangun Lor masuk pada kategori rawan pangan berat, dengan hasil uji Chi Square pada social capital sebesar 0,709. Food security at the national level is currently attracting attention because it has not yet reached the word "resilience", marked by Indonesia still importing staple food from Vietnam. One of the provinces in Indonesia with the best level ofresilience is Central Java, 93%, but it does not guarantee overall food security conditions at the household level because they have different access to food.Utilization of social capital can realize food security related to food access, making it easier for people to choose food (food choice). This study aims to examine the relationship between food security and insecurity with social capital and household food choice in Kutowinangun Lor Village, Tingkir District, Salatiga City. The method used is a descriptive quantitative method. The statisticaltest used is the Chi Square test. The results showed that 48.4% of respondents were in the category of severe food insecurity. 54.8% of respondents do not actively participate in village organizations with moderate levels of social capital. 71% of respondents have a fairly good food choice. Bivariate analysis shows that there is no relationship between food security and social capital with a chi-square test result of 0.709, while for food choice and food security, it shows that there is a relationship between the two with a chi-square test result of 0.015. Therefore, most of the underprivileged households in Kutowinangun Lor fall into the category of severe food insecurity, with the Chi Square test results on social capital of 0.709.
