Abstract: | Petani Minang Bangkit Merbabu menerapkan sistem pertanian organik berupa pemberian kompos cair dengan bahan utama urin kelinci, susu sapi, dan telur ayam kampung sebagai penyedia unsur hara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompos cair beberapa campuran bahan organik terhadap pertumbuhan, kuantitas dan kualitas kale, serta menentukan komposisi campuran bahan kompos cair terbaik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) 5 perlakuan campuran beberapa bahan kompos cair yaitu kontrol, urin kelinci+telur ayam kampung (UK+T), urin kelinci+susu sapi segar (UK+S), susu sapi segar+telur ayam kampung (S+T), dan urin kelinci+susu sapi segar+telur ayam kampung (UK+S+T) yang diulang enam kali dan dikalikan dua untuk uji kuantitas dan kualitas, sehingga didapatkan 60 satuan percobaan. Uji kadar vitamin C, klorofil dan karotenoid sebagai parameter kualitas, parameter kuantitas berupa berat berangkasan basah dan kering akar serta tajuk dan parameter pertumbuhan berupa jumlah daun, diameter batang, dan lebar tajuk terluar. Data dianalisis dengan uji sidik ragam dengan uji lanjut BNJ menggunakan taraf nyata 5%. Berdasarkan hasil uji sidik ragam, campuran beberapa bahan kompos memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap semua parameter. Perlakuan urin kelinci + susu sapi segar + telur ayam kampung (UK+S+T) menunjukkan pertumbuhan dan hasil panen terbaik meliputi berat berangkasan akar 10.01 g dan tajuk 101.37 g, jumlah daun 15.17, diameter batang 0.97 cm dan lebar tajuk terluar 52.42 cm. Kandungan vitamin C, klorofil dan karotenoid pada kale menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata dengan kontrol, tetapi untuk vitamin C tidak berbeda nyata pada keempat perlakuan Minang Bangkit Merbabu farmers apply organic agriculture in form of giving liquid compost with main materials of rabbit urine, fresh milk, and chicken eggs as nutrient provider. This research’s purpose is to know the effect of liquid compost toward growth, quantity, and quality of kale and to determine the best composition of liquid compost. The research method used was a randomized block design with 5 treatments of mixed liquid compost, namely control, rabbit urine + chicken egg (UK+T), rabbit urine + fresh milk (UK+S), fresh milk + chicken egg (S+T), and rabbit urine + fresh milk + chicken egg (UK+S+T) which was repeated 6 times and multiplied by 2 to test the yield and quality, so that 60 experimental units are obtained. Test of vitamin C, chlorophyll and carotenoids levels as quality parameters, yield parameters in the form of wet and dry root weight as well as shoots and growth parameters in the form of number of leaves, stem diameter, and crown diameter. Data were analyzed using variance test with Tukey follow-up test with α=5%. Based on the results of the variance test, the liquid compost had a significantly different effect on all parameters. The UK+S+T treatment showed the best growth and yields including 15.17 leaf number, 0.97 cm stem diameter, 52.42 cm crown diameter, 10.01 g root crop and 101.37 g crown. The vitamin C, chlorophyll and carotenoids content in kale showed significantly different results to the control, but for vitamin C was not significantly different in treatment. |
