Aplikasi Pemandu Lokasi Objek Wisata dengan Google Maps dan GPS di Kota Solo pada Perangkat Mobile Android

Abstract

Kota Solo merupakan salah satu kota yang memiliki potensi dalam sektor pariwisata. Masalahnya penyebaran informasi sebagai media promosi setiap tempat wisata berbeda-beda sehingga manfaatnya menjadi tidak maksimal. Media yang digunakan berupa pamflet, brosur. Masalah yang lain muncul ketika wisatawan melakukan kegiatan wisata tanpa menggunakan bantuan travel agent. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut dilakukan penelitian untuk merancang dan mengimplementasi aplikasi mobile Android dengan GoogleMaps dan Global Positionning System (GPS). Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan metode prototype untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan. Dengan menggunakan GoogleMaps dan Global Positionning System (GPS), Aplikasi Pemandu Lokasi Objek Wisata pada device mobile Android ini dibangun.

Solo is one of the city that have the potential in the tourism sector. The problem is the dissemination of information as a media campaign for every tourist is different, so that their benefits can't be maximized. The media which used in the form of pamphlets, brochures. Another problem arises when tourists travel without the help of travel agents. Based on the problem then done the research to design and implement a mobile Android application with GoogleMaps and Global Positionning System (GPS). This application was built using a prototype method to identify needs. By using GoogleMaps and Global Positionning System (GPS), Application Guide Location Attractions on a mobile device Android is built.
