Title: Partisipasi Pemerintah dalam Mempertahankan dan Melestarikan Bentuk Keaslian Rumah Adat Uma Jaga Wogu di Zaman Modern

Abstract: Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembangunan rumah adat Uma Jaga Wogu sesuai bentuk keasliannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempertahankan makna dan nilai-nilai social budaya yang terkandung pada setiap komponen rumah adat Uma Jaga Wogu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, Tempat penelitian di Kampung Adat Praigoli yang beradat tepat di desa Weihura Kecamatan Wanukaka, Kabupaten Sumba Barat, Data yang ada dalam penelitian ini didapat dari melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala suku, Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik dasar model alir dimana data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian diveritifikasi dari awal penelitian hingga akhir dan pemaparan analisis untuk kemudian ditarik kesimpulannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan pembangunan rumah adat Uma Jaga Wogu sudah dibangun sesuai dengan bentuk keasliannya. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembangunan rumah adat Uma Jaga Wogu sesuai bentuk keasliannya memberi dampak positif bagi masyarakat setempat khususnya di sektor pariwisata.
This study focuses on the construction of the Uma Jaga Wogu traditional house according to its original form. This study aims to maintain the meaning and socio-cultural values contained in each component of the Uma Jaga Wogu traditional house. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research location is in the Praigoli Traditional Village which is right in the village of Weihura, Wanukaka District, West Sumba Regency. In this study, the basic technique of the flow model is where the data that has been collected is then verified from the beginning of the study to the end and the analysis is presented to then draw conclusions. The results of this study state that the construction of the Uma Jaga Wogu traditional house has been built according to its original form. This study concludes that the construction of the Uma Jaga Wogu traditional house according to its original form has a positive impact on the local community, especially in the tourism sector
