Abstract: | Tayangan di media massa, khususnya televisi berkembang begitu pesat. RCTI sebagai stasiun televisi swasta pertama, ikut bersaing dengan memunculkan tayangan reality competition show MasterChef Indonesia untuk menarik perhatian para pemirsanya. Untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan daya tarik terhadap tayangan MasterChef dengan minat menonton para pemirsanya, maka penelitian ini diadakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel daya tarik (Juri,Peserta,Tantangan,Bintang tamu,Masakan) tayangan reality competition show “MasterChef Indonesia” di RCTI terhadap variabel minat menonton (Ketertarikan tayangan,Waktu Luang, Hobby, Pengenalan produk, Kebutuhan). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pemirsa tayangan MasterChef Indonesia di perumahan Tanah Mas, Semarang sebanyak 30 orang yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan data primer sedangkan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode kuesioner Pengukuran variabel menggunakan aras ukur ordinal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Peserta, Bintang tamu, tantangan dan masakan merupakan indikator yang mampu menarik minat pemirsa untuk menyaksikan tayangan MasterChef Indonesia. Dan selain itu, ketertarikan tayangan, waktu luang yang cukup, hobby memasak, pengenalan produk masakan, kebutuhan mengenai masakan juga menjadi pengaruh tayangan MasterChef diminati. Secara garis besar dapat disimpulkan bahwa tayangan reality competition show MasterChef Indonesia memiliki hubungan daya tarik terhadap minat penonton. There is an incredible growth in the media world impressionsin the media, particularly the rapid growth of television. RCTI as the first private channel television station, joined the race to bring competition reality show MasterChef Indonesia to attract viewer's attention.To see if the MasterChef show has a relationship with the appeal of watching the interest of the audience, the research was conducted This study wa to examined the relations between the appeal (the jury indicator, Participant, Challenges, GuestStars, Cuisine) relationship reality competition show MasterChef Indonesia in the RCTI to the interest in watching (interest, Leisure, Hobby, Product Introduction,needs). The method used in this study is a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive correltional study. The sample in this study is the audience of MasterChef Indonesia show in residential Tanah Mas, Semarang as many as 30 people taken by purposive sampling technique. Type of data used primary data, while data retrieval technique using variable measurent the method using a questionnaire ordinal level of measurement. The result indicate that : The participant, guest star, and the challenge of cooking is an indicator that is able to attract viewers to watch the show of MasterChef Indonesia. And besides, their interest in the show, enough free time, a hooby of cook, the introduction of food product, the needs of the cuisine also a MasterChef show wether the effect of interest. Broadly speaking it can be conclude that competition the reality show of MasterChef Indonesia has relationship appeal to the audiences. |
