Abstract: Sistem penanaman padi Jajar legowo merupakan sistem inovasi penanaman padi dengan mengatur jarak tanam dengan diselingi bagian kosong ditengahnya. Sistem penanaman Jajar legowo sudah menjadi program pemerintah kabupaten Wonosobo karena dianggap dapat meningkatkan produktifitas tanaman padi sebesar 30%. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara lingkungan sosial, intensitas penyuluhan, sifat karakteristik inovasi, luas kepemilikan lahan dan lingkungan ekonomi dengan keputusan petani dalam penerapan sistem inovasi Jajar legowo di Desa Sojokerto Kecamatan Leksono Kabupaten Wonosobo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2019 pada petani padi Jajar legowo di Desa Sojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan pencatatan menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan sosial, intensitas penyuluhan, sifat karakteristik inovasi, dan lingkungan ekonomi memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan keputusan petani dalam penerapan sistem inovasi Jajar legowo, sedangkan variabel luas kepemilikan lahan tidak mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan keputusan petani dalam penerapan sistem inovasi Jajar legowo.
The Jajar legowo rice planting system is an innovation system for rice planting by adjusting the spacing with an empty part in the middle. The Jajar legowo planting system has become a program of the Wonosobo district government because it is considered to increase rice productivity by 30%. In this regard, this study aims to determine the relationship of social environment, extension intensity, nature of innovation characteristics, extent of land ownership and economic environment with farmers' decision to implement the Jajar legowo innovation system in Sojokerto Village, Leksono District, Wonosobo Regency. This research was conducted from April to May 2019 to Jajar legowo rice farmers in Sojokerto Village. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews and recording using questionnaires. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis using Spearman Rank Correlation. The results showed that the social environment, extension intensity, characteristics of innovation characteristics, and economic environment had a positive and significant relationship with the farmers 'decision to implement the Jajar legowo innovation system, while the broad variable land ownership did not have a significant relationship with the farmers' decision to implement the Jajar legowo innovation system.
