Abstract: | Sebanyak 43,71% anak usia ≥15 tahun di Kabupaten Malang mengalami obesitas. Kondisi obesitas berakibat pada peningkatan risiko terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskuler. Kolesterol total merupakan salah satu indikator penentu terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskuler. Penelitian di kota Bitung Manado menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kadar kolesterol pada remaja obesitas. Penelitian tersebut menyebutkan bahwa sebanyak 13 siswa dari 50 siswa obesitas mengalami hiperkolesterolemia. Sehingga penelitian dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan obesitas dengan kadar kolesterol pada remaja usia 13- 15 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2021 di SMP Kristen Pelita Kasih Lawang dengan total populasi sebanyak 76 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner SQ-FFQ, food recall 2 × 24 jam serta kuesioner pengetahuan gizi dan obesitas yang mencakup data antropometri. Data hasil pengukuran kadar kolesterol dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel darah pada jari responden sebanyak 2-3 tetes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode uji kolerasi spearman’s rho mengunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics versi 25. Hasil uji korelasi status gizi lebih dengan kadar kolesterol pada remaja di SMP Kristen Pelita Kasih Lawang menunjukkan nilai 0,078 > 0,05. Berdasarkan uji korelasi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara status gizi lebih dengan kadar kolesterol pada siswa di SMP Kristen Pelita Kasih Lawang. Pada penelitian ini diketahui bahwa jumlah responden overweight dengan hiperkolesterolemia lebih banyak (36,36%) dibandingkan responden obesitas. Sedangkan responden obesitas tanpa kolesterol jumlahnya sama dengan responden overweight tanpa kolesterol yaitu sebanyak 7 siswa. As many as 43.71% of children aged 15 years in Malang Regency are obese. Obesity conditions result in an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Total cholesterol is one of the determinants of cardiovascular disease. Research in the city of Bitung Manado showed an increase in cholesterol levels in obese adolescents. The study stated that as many as 13 students out of 50 obese students had hypercholesterolemia. So the study was conducted to see the relationship between obesity and cholesterol levels in adolescents aged 13-15 years. The research was conducted in 2021 at Pelita Kasih Lawang Christian Junior High School with a total population of 76 students. This study used instruments in the form of a SQ-FFQ questionnaire, a food recall of 2 × 24 hours and a nutrition and obesity knowledge questionnaire that included anthropometric data. The data on the results of measuring cholesterol levels was carried out by taking 2-3 drops of blood samples on the respondent's fingers. Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman's Rho correlation test method using the IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 application. The results of the correlation test for overweight and cholesterol levels in adolescents at Pelita Kasih Lawang Christian Junior High School showed a value of 0.078 > 0.05. Based on the correlation test, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between overweight status and cholesterol levels in students at Pelita Kasih Lawang Christian Junior High School. In this study, it was found that the number of overweight respondents with hypercholesterolemia was more (36.36%) than obese respondents. Meanwhile, the number of obese respondents without cholesterol was the same as that of overweight respondents without cholesterol is 7 students. |
