Abstract: Peer assessment has been regarded as a tool which learners rate each other’s contribution based on the set of criteria. This study examined the students’ perceptions on the use of peer assessment in a group work at the Faculty of Language and Arts (FLA) of Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW). This study attempted to answer the research questions: “what are the students’ perception on the use of peer assessment after they finish a group work?”. The participants of this study were 50 students from batch 2016 and 2017 of the English Education Program. The data were collected from a questionnaire and a structured interview. The results of this study showed that generally the students had good opinions toward peer assessment. Furthermore, this study found that peer assessment could encourage student involvement throughout the group project.
