Health Literacy Peran Perawat sebagai Edukator pada Klien dengan Diabetes Melitus (DM) Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Sidorejo Lor Kota Salatiga

Abstract

Secara maksimal untuk menghasilkan insulin (WHO, 2016). . Pendidikan kesehatan terhadap DM tipe 2 sangat diperlukan, oleh sebab itu diperlukan peranan tenaga kesehatan seperti dokter, perawat dan kader.Peran perawat sebagai edukator khususnya pada penyakit DM dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan self care diabetes dan penyesuaian terhadap diabetes serta berdampak terhadap kesehatan emosional, mengurangi Health literacy adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk memperoleh, memproses, memahami, dan mengkomunikasikan tentang informasi yang terkait dengan kesehatan yang ddiperlukan untuk membuat suatu keputusan tentang kesehatan (Hans Tandra, 2017). Diabetes Melitus DM adalah penyakit kronis serius, dimana pankreas tidak dapat bekerja kecemasan dan depresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peran perawat sebagai edukator pada penyakit DM tipe 2 di Puskemas Sidorejo Lor Kota Salatiga. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah klien dengan DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Sidorejo Salatiga dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 39 responden. Adapun kriteria inklusi yakni lakilaki dan perempuan, bersedia menjadi responden dalam penelitian dan aktif dan rutin periksa ke Puskemas Sidorejo Lor Kota Salatiga. Kriteria eksklusinya adalah responden yang tidak mau menolak berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner peran perawat sebagai edukator (Fajrimi, 2013). Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan univariat. Hasil penelitian: Sebanyak 31 responden (79%) menyatakan peran perawat sebagai edukator masuk dalam kategori tinggi dalam pemberian pendidikan kesehatan pada Klien DM Tipe 2, dan sebanyak 8 responden (21%) menyatakan peran perawat sebagai edukator dalam kategori rendah dalam pemberian pendidikan kesehatan pada klien DM tipe 2. Kesimpulan: Peran perawat sebagai edukator padaa klien dengan DM Tipe II di Puskesmas Sidorejo Lor Salatiga sudah tergolong tinggi.

Health education on type 2 DM is very necessary, therefore the role of health workers such as doctors, nurses and cadres. The role of nurses as educators, especially in DM can improve diabetes self-care skills and adjustment to diabetes and have an impact on emotional health, reduce anxiety and depression. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of nurses as educators in type 2 DM at the Sidorejo Lor Health Center, Salatiga City. The research method was used a quantitative descriptive research design. The population in this study were clients with type 2 DM at the Sidorejo Health Center Salatiga with a total sample of 39 respondents. The inclusion criteria were male and female, willing to be respondents in the study and were active and routinely checked at the Sidorejo Lor Health Center, Salatiga City. The exclusion criteria were respondents who did not want to refuse to participate in this study. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis technique using univariate. The results of the study: A total of 31 respondents (79%) stated that the role of nurses as educators was in the high category in providing health education to Type 2 DM clients, and as many as 8 respondents (21%) stated that the role of nurses as educators was in the low category in providing health education to Type 2 DM clients. Conclusion: The role of nurses as educators for clients with Type II DM at the Sidorejo Lor Health Center Salatiga is high
