Abstract

Development of communications and information technology today is very fast, ranging from the era of accounting, operational era, the era of information about the latest developments in information and communication technology has reached the era of global networking. It also resulted in a change in lifestyle of people who initially are still using traditional methods to switch to modern methods in every field of business where people have been using information and communication technology. Not least in the academic world in general and in particular SMA 1 Waikabubak, is an academic institution in desperate need of a system capable of managing data and information quickly and easily. Making web-based information system is intended to provide convenience to each user be it students, teachers and staff employees of SMA Negeri 1 Waikabubak in accessing information and the data management both information delivery and processing of the information itself and in this final application will be built using Visual Basic.Net, SQLServer and Developer Express to display the chart.
