Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Akademik (Studi Kasus : Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Salatiga)

Abstract

Computer-based information system became a primary thing for the fulfillment of information needs. Many areas utilized the computer-based information system as a tool to ease work, as of businessman to the academic / educational institute use computer as a tool to help ease the work. In fact, the use of computer technology will be the main requirement to show the quality of a certain field and become the most important asset in order to win the competition. Based on this, a research to facilitate student and the managers to discover the academic information such as student / lecturer's data, billing data, learning / teaching schedule, student's score input was done. Based on the research data from Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Salatiga, the Academic Information System is the right solution to overcome the problem that occur. By using the waterfall method, an academic information system which in turn can meet the needs of system user, both the school and students, is expected to be build in Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Salatiga.
