Abstract: | Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk: 1) Menentukan pengaruh kecemasan menghadapi pensiun dan work engagement terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan PT Damatex Salatiga; 2) Menentukan perbedaan motivasi kerja karyawan dan karyawati PT Damatex Salatiga. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 73 karyawan dan 20 karyawati PT Damatex Salatiga. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tiga skala yaitu kecemasan menghadapi pensiun, work engagement dan motivasi kerja dengan menggunakan skala Likert (5 alternatif jawaban); sedangkan teknik sampling menggunakan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kecemasan menghadapi pensiun dan work engagement berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan PT Damatex, sebaliknya hanya kecemasan menghadapi pensiun karyawati yang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja karyawati PT Damatex; 2) Tidak ada perbedaan motivasi kerja antara karyawan dan karyawati PT Damatex Salatiga. The aims in this study were: 1) To determine the effect of anxiety to face retirement and work engagement on the work motivation of PT Damatex Salatiga employees; 2) To determine the difference in work motivation of male and female employees of PT Damatex Salatiga. This research was conducted on 73 male employees and 20 female employees of PT Damatex Salatiga. Research data were collected using three scales, namely anxiety to face retirement, work engagement and work motivation using a Likert scale (5 alternative answers); while the sampling technique saturated sampling. The results showed that: 1) Anxiety to face retirement and work engagement affects the work motivation of PT Damatex male employees, it was only anxiety facing retired female employees that affected the work motivation of PT Damatex female employees; 2) There is no difference in work motivation between male and female employees of PT Damatex Salatiga. |
