Abstract: Expatriates might be ready and perform excellently during the training and seems really well prepared. Company expected expatriates to perform as good as they trained or even better. The problem comes when they enter a country which have different level of rigorous, the effect of the training will be decreases. Training expected to help expatriates to maintain their performances and to survive when they experience a culture shock. There are 33 expatriates from 13 different countries participated in this study. This research proved the role of cultural toughness as a moderating variable between cross-cultural training and expatriates performances.Cross-Cultural Training expected to be customized considering the host country where expatriates are assigned.
