penyebab tingginya angka kematian bayi (AKB). Secara umum, penyebab terjadinya
kelahiran bayi dengan BBLR bersifat multifaktorial sehingga tindakan pencegahan
kasus sering menemui kesulitan. Faktor-faktor penyebab BBLR terdiri dari faktor
internal (faktor ibu, janin dan plasenta) dan faktor eksternal (faktor sosial dan
lingkungan).
menjadi umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, status gizi, paritas, jenis gestasi, kejadian KPD
memengaruhi kejadian BBLR. Low birth weight is defined as the birth of a baby weighing < 2500 g. Low birth weight is a health problem that is one of the causes of the high infant mortality rate. In general, the causes of the low birth weight are multifactorial. So, the prevention measures often encounter difficulties. The factors causing low birth weight consist of internal factors (maternal, fetal and placental factors) and external factors (social and environmental factors). The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the determinant factor of low birth weight in Salatiga City. This research is descriptive quantitative research with a secondary data analysis approach. The data was obtained from the Puskesmas in Salatiga City and then analyzed by a univariate test. This study was conducted on 43 respondents who met the inclusion criteria and were recorded in the puskesmas data, namely mothers who gave birth to low birth weight babies at term. The study was conducted in Salatiga City from April to May 2019. The results of the study are presented in tabular form and discussed by research variables which are limited to age, education, occupation, nutritional status, parity, type of gestation, incidence of PROM and bad obstetric history. The birth of babies with low birth weight in Salatiga City is influenced by several factors including maternal age, maternal nutritional status, parity, type of gestation, incidence of PROM and bad obstetric history. In addition, there are educational and occupation factors which are indirect factors that can affect the incidence of low birth weight. |
