Abstract: | Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Potensi Lokal pada Siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 12 di Halmahera Utara dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam memahami materi yang berbasis potensi lokal di Halmahera Utara dan mengevaluasi efektivitas media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan video dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah R and D (Research and Development). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan 1) Angket (digunakan untuk memperoleh data terkait penilaian kelayakan media dari para validator yang terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media dan guru biologi, 2) Lembar Observasi untuk mengamati aktivitas keterampilan siswa ketika pembelajaran berlangsung, 3) Observasi dilaksanakan ketika sebelum penelitian sebagai data awal dan pada saat proses pembelajaran IPA berlangsung, 4) Wawancara dilakukan pada saat observasi awal, dan 5) Dokumentasi dilakukan untuk Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dari rekaman foto maupun gambar yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis video cukup efektif dalam materi ekosistem dan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Development of the Local Potential-Based Learning Media for Class X Science Students at SMA Negeri 12 in North Halmahera with the aim of improving students' cognitive abilities in understanding local potential-based materials in North Halmahera and evaluating the effectiveness of learning media using video in improving students' understanding of biology learning. The type of research used is R and D (Research and Development). Data collection techniques used 1) Questionnaires (used to obtain data related to media feasibility assessments from validators consisting of material experts, media experts and biology teachers, 2) Observation Sheets to observe student skill activities during learning, 3) Observations were carried out before research as initial data and during the science learning process, 4) Interviews were conducted during initial observations, and 5) Documentation was carried out for collecting data obtained from recorded photos and images related to this research. The results of this study indicate that learning by using video-based learning media is quite effective in ecosystem materials and the improvement of students' cognitive abilities is in the moderate category. |
