Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan kelanjutan dari modifikasi spike to hole yang menggunakan seleksi spike to row dan karakterisasi UPOV (2016), pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui persentase baris tumbuhan yang memiliki kemiripan morfologi visual dengan genotipe 2 pada penelitian tahun 2020 dan bagaimana karakter morfologi visual khususnya pada baris tanaman yang lolos seleksi menurut UPOV 2016 dan warna RHS. Metode Seleksi “Spike to Row” merupakan teknik seleksi dari modifikasi ear to row yang mana metode ini untuk cara penanaman satu baris lubang tanaman hanya di taburi 1 malai atau spike yang menggunakan jarak tanam 25 cm untuk tiap barisnyadan lebar bedengan 80 cm. Pada seleksi tersebut mendapatkan 40 baris tanaman, yang telah di peroleh mendapatkan presentase sebesar 0,80% baris tanaman memiliki kesamaan kenampakan visual morfologi gandum Genotipe 2 pada penelitian 2020 dan hasil pencirian karakter UPOV 2016 dari yang lolos seleksi bawasannya memiliki arah tumbuh sedikit tegak, bentuk profil malai sisi sejajar, lebar bahu spiklet medium, bentuk bahu spiklet medium, panjang paruh spiklet sedikit tinggi, bentuk paruh spiklet sedang, dan warna malai tua yang didapatkan dengan RHS collour yaitu Yellow Group 9A, Yellow Group 9B, dan Yellow Group 9C, dan warna biji cokelat tua (Greyed Orange 164C).
This study is a continuation of the spike to hole modification using spike to row selection and UPOV characterization (2016), in this study the aim of this study was to determine the percentage of plant rows that had visual morphological similarities to genotype 2 in the 2020 study and how the visual morphological characters, especially in plant rows that passed the selection according to UPOV 2016 and RHS color. The "Spike to Row" selection method is a selection technique from a modified ear to row where this method for planting one row of plant holes is only sprinkled with 1 panicle or spike using a spacing of 25 cm for each row and a bed width of 80 cm. In this selection, 40 plant rows were obtained, which was obtained to get a percentage of 0.80% of plant lines having the same visual appearance of Genotype 2 wheat morphology in the 2020 study and the results of characterizing UPOV 2016 from those who passed the basic selection had a slightly upright growth direction, shape parallel-sided panicle profile, medium spikelet shoulder width, medium spikelet shoulder shape, slightly high spikelet beak length, medium spikelet beak shape, and dark panicle color obtained by RHS collour, namely Yellow Group 9A, Yellow Group 9B, and Yellow Group 9C, and dark brown bean color (Greyed Orange 164C).
