Abstract: | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahapan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan tahapan pemecahan masalah John Dewey pada siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal olimpiade matematika konten geometri di SMP Negeri 2 Salatiga. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII H sebanyak 3 siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian yaitu tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada subjek dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi mampu melaksanakan keenam tahapan pemecahan masalah tersebut, walapun ada satu subjek dilihat dari tahapan pemecahan masalah yang belum terpenuhi. This research is a qualitative descrptive research that aims to analyze the stages of problem solving based on John Dewey's problem solving stages of junior high school students in solving mathematics olympiad math geometry content problems in SMP Negeri 2 Salatiga. The research subjects of class VIII H were 3 highly capable students. The methods of collecting data in research are tests, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the subjects with high mathematical ability were able to carry out the six stages, even though there was one subject seen from the problem solving stage that had not yet been fulfilled |
