Abstract: Bus merupakan salah satu jenis transportasi yang masih banyak digunakan pasa masa ini. Setiap hari ribuan orang menaiki bus untuk berpergian, karena banyaknya pengguna jasa, di terminal sering sekali harus antri, karena pembayarannya masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu perancang membuat perangkat elektronik yang dapat memudahkan untuk melakukan transaksi prabayar menggunakan uang elektronik. Uang elektronik ini menggunakan sistem RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), RFID merupakan suatu teknologi identifikasi yang menggunakan frekuensi radio sehingga bersifat contactless. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem RFID disimpulkan respon waktu pembacaan tag card rata rata 0,83 s saat cek saldo dan bayar transaksi, dengan respon waktu saat pengisian saldo rata rata 1,48 s. Jarak tag ke RFID reader maksimal sejauh 2,5 cm, dapat menyimpan saldo dalam nominal maksimal Rp9.000.000, nominal pengisian saldo tidak dibatasi dan bisa melakukan pembayaran berkali kali.
Bus is one type of transportation that is still widely used today. Every day many of people take the bus to travel, because of the large number of service users, at the terminal often have to queue, because the payment is still done manually. Therefore, the authors make electronic devices that can make it easier to make prepaid transactions using electronic money. This electronic money uses an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system, RFID is an identification technology that uses radio frequencies so that it is contactless. Based on the results of testing the RFID system, it can be concluded that the response time for reading the card tag is on average 0,83 s when checking balances and paying transactions, and the response time for filling in balances is an average of 1,43 s. The distance between the tag and the RFID reader is a maximum of 2,5 cm, can store a balance in a maximum nominal of Rp9.000.000, the nominal balance is not limited and can make multiple payments.
