The purpose of this study is to describe the phenomena experienced by women on Buru Island, in a seclusion house, based on the psychological perspective of psychoanalytic theory. Qualitative methods with the type of Phenomonological Interpretative Phenomonological Analysis (IPA) are used to answer the research on Buru island. The observation unit was 8 women who have been intered in the house of koit. Each of 4 multigravida women and 4 primigravida women. The unit of analysis includes psychological experiences, emotional reactions, interactions of psychological, spiritual, cultural, and biological systems. As a result, traditions that have been passed down through generations have shaped the subject’s 8 personality system through unconsciousness collective. Although this tradition was originally carried out through coercion, but archetypes are considered capable of being a guideline, which ultimately makes the subject find cultural significance and self-realization. This is created by the stability between the unconscious and the awareness (individuation). |
