Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi konteks, input, proses, dan produk dari program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang. Subjek penelitian difokuskan pada Kepala Sekolah, Guru Agama dan Guru Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut : (1) Pengumpulan data; (2) Reduksi data; (3) Display atau penyajian data; (4) Menarik kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) Konteks, pendidikan karakter sangat dibutuhkan oleh Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang; (2) Input, pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang mengacu pada visi dan misi sekolah, dan juga Kurikulum 2013 (K-13); (3) Proses, pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang berjalan dengan baik; (4) Produk, hasil dari program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang yaitu budaya 5S, form penilaian karakter dan 8 Pin Karakter; (5) Kendala, faktor dari luar dan faktor dari dalam. Faktor dari luar seperti, tontonan yang tidak mendidik, kekerasan, hal-hal yang berbau pornografi dan lain sebagainya. Sedangkan faktor dari dalam seperti, pemahaman guru tentang konsep pendidikan karakter yang belum menyeluruh, sehingga diperlukan pembinaan-pembinaan yang berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen K This research aims to evaluate the context, input, process, and products of the character education program at the Canaan Christian School in Semarang. The research subjects were focused on the Principal, Religious Teachers and Class Teachers. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation study. To analyze data using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, with the following steps: (1) Data collection; (2) data reduction; (3) Display or presentation of data; (4) Draw conclusions or verification. Data validation techniques using data source triangulation and method triangulation. The results showed: (1) Context, character education was needed by the Canaan Christian School in Semarang; (2) Input, character education in Semarang Canaan Christian School refers to the vision and mission of the school, and also the 2013 Curriculum (K-13); (3) The process, implementation of character education programs in the Semarang Canaan Christian School went well; (4) Products, the results of character education programs in the Canaan Christian School in Semarang, namely 5S culture, character assessment forms and 8 Character Pins; (5) Constraints, external factors and internal factors. External factors such as, non-educative shows, violence, pornography and so on. While internal factors such as, the teacher's understanding of the concept of character education is not yet comprehensive, so that continuous coaching is needed. Overall, the character education program at Semarang Canaan Christian School has a positive impact on all students. |
