Abstract: Penilitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan fenomena Big Quit yang terjadi pada masa pandemi Covid 19 yang sudah terjadi selama dua tahun ini. Hal tersebut berkaitan dengan turnover intention karyawan yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti work life balance dan stres kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work life balance dan stres kerja terhadap turnover intention pada generasi milenial di Kota Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif kausalitas, dengan sampel penelitian ini yaitu 120 responden yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan rumus Hair. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan work life balance berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention. Sedangkan stres kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap turnover intention. Sehingga variabel stres kerja mampu mempengaruhi variabel turnover intention, sedangkan variabel work life balance memiliki pengaruh lemah terhadap variabel turnover intention.
This research was carried out based on the phenomenon of Big Quit which happened during the Covid 19 pandemic which has occurred for this past two years. This is related to employee’s turnover intention that can be influenced by various factors such as work life balance and work stress. This study aims to determine the effect of work life balance and work stress on turnover intention for millennial generation in Salatiga City. This study uses a causal quantitative approach, with a sample of 120 respondents obtained using Hair formula. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of this study indicated that work life balance has a negative effect on turnover intention. Meanwhile, work stress has a positive effect on work life balance. So that the dual role conflict variable is able to influence the turnover intention variable, while the work life balance variable has a weak influence on the work-life balance variable.
