Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keputusan yang diberikan oleh mahasiswa akuntansi berdasarkan tingkat self-esteem, love of money, dan machiavelli yang berbeda-beda dalam konteks pengambilan keputusan etis. Responden adalah mahasiswa S1 akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan total 214 mahasiswa jurusan akuntansi dari angkatan 2013 dan 2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dan mahasiswi akuntansi yang memiliki tingkat self-esteem, love of money, dan machiavelli yang rendah cenderung membuat keputusan yang tidak etis.
The aim of this study is to describe the decisions made by accounting students based on the different levels of self-esteem, love of money, and machiavelli in the context of ethical decision making. The respondents were undergraduate students of Accounting Faculty of Economics and Business. In this study, quantitative descriptive statistical research design was used with a total of 214 students majoring in accounting from batch 2013 and 2014. The results showed that accounting students who had low self-esteem, love of money, and machiavelli tend to make unethical decisions.
