Abstract: | Kedatangan bangsa Eropa untuk berdagang dan mencari sumber rempah-rempah di Indonesia memberikan masa kolonial sepanjang sejarah Indonesia. Masa kolonial ini meninggalakn beberapa pengaruh besar terhadap Indonesia, salah satunya di bidang pembangunag perkotaan. Pengaruh tersebut menjadikan ciri khas peninggalan kolonial pada suatu daerah seperti bentuk dan struktur di beberapa kota. Beberapa bangunan peninggalan Hindia Belanda yang hingga kini masih bertahan merupakan salah satu sisa dari bentuk dan struktur pada masa kolonial tersebut. Status kepemilikan dari bangunan peninggalan Hindia Belanda dapat dimiliki oleh semua orang, seperti pemerintah, dan pribadi. Keadaan bangunan tersebut juga berbeda-beda, seperti terawat, tidak terawat, mangkrak, dan difungsikan kembali. Pada Tugas Akhir ini, mahasiswa membuat karya katalog cetak berjudul “Verhalen Over Restaurants in Salatiga”. Dalam perancangannya, mahasiswa melakukan pendekatan literasi, wawancara, dan terjun ke lapangan untuk mendapatkan data. Karya ini bertujuan untuk arsip dan media informasi terbaru yang disajikan secara menarik mengenai kisah perjalanan dari beberapa bangunan peninggalan Hindia Belanda kota Salatiga yang cenderung difungsikan sebagai restoran. Isi karya ini disertai dengan beberapa foto bangunan, sisi khas, dan narasi yang berupa beberapa cerita dari pemilik bangunan. Pada penilaian akhir dari para responden, karya katalog ini telah mencapai nilai baik dan mendapatkan beberapa saran. The arrival of Europeans to trade and find sources of spices in Indonesia gave a colonial period throughout Indonesian history. This colonial period left several major influences on Indonesia, one of which was in the field of urban development. This influence makes the characteristics of colonial heritage in an area such as the form and structure in several cities. Several buildings from the Hindia Belanda which are still surviving are one of the remnants of the forms and structures during the colonial period. The ownership status of the Hindia Belanda heritage buildings can be owned by everyone, such as the government, and individuals. The condition of the building is also different, such as maintained, not maintained, stalled, and functioned again. In this Final Project, students make a printed catalog entitled "Verhalen Over Restaurants in Salatiga". In its design, students take a literacy approach, interview, and go into the field to get data. This work aims for the latest archives and information media which is presented in an interesting way about the travel stories of several buildings from the Hindia Belanda in the city of Salatiga which tend to function as restaurants. The contents of this work are accompanied by several photos of the building, its distinctive side, and a narration in the form of several stories from the building owner. In the final assessment of the respondents, this catalog work has achieved good marks and received several suggestions. |
