Abstract: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi suatu permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan anak yang kemampuan kosakata terbatas, sehingga memerlukan adanya penggunaan media untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata anak dalam berbicara. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan : (1) Bagaimana hasil proses belajar dengan menggunakan media cardbox dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata anak usia 3-4 tahun ? Penelitian ini dibahas melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus, dengan setiap tahapannya yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data penelitian ini di peroleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah anak PAUD di Desa Daudolu Nusa Tenggara Timur yang berjumlah 5 anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan Januari – April 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media cardbox yang dilakukan dari dua siklus terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata anak usia 3-4 tahun di sekolah PAUD Maranatha. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan pada setiap aspek penelitian. Pada siklus I dilakukan satu kali pertemuan dan siklus II dilaksanakan satu kali pertemuan. Hasil kemampuan kosakata anak pada pra siklus 45%, meningkat pada siklus 1 menjadi 50% dan meningkat pada siklus 2 90%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan kosakata anak usia 3-4 tahun dari tahap ke tahap dapat meningkat menggunakan media cardbox. This research is motivated by a problem related to children with limited vocabulary skills, so it requires the use of media to improve children's vocabulary skills in speaking. This study aims to answer the following problems: (1) How can the results of the learning process using cardbox media improve the vocabulary skills of children aged 3-4 years? This thesis is discussed through Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out through two cycles, with each stage consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection stages. This research data obtained through observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were early childhood children in Daudolu Village, East Nusa Tenggara totaling 5 children. This research was conducted in January – April 2021. The results showed that the cardbox media which was carried out in two cycles was proven to improve the vocabulary skills of children aged 3-4 years at PAUD Maranatha school. This can be seen from the improvement in every aspect of the research. In the first cycle, there was one meeting and the second cycle was carried out in one meeting. The result of children's vocabulary skills in the pre-cycle was 45%, increased in cycle 1 to 50% and increased in cycle 2 90%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the vocabulary skills of children aged 3-4 years from stage to stage can be increased using cardbox media. |
