Abstract: Tesis ini merupakan hasil penelitian kuantitatif yang menjelaskan kebermaknaan HRM engagement strategy pada rancang bangun tuntutan tugas dan dukungan terhadap motivasi diri kepada kemunculan keterikatan karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan sampel di PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelaksana Pemeliharaan Semarang. Rumusan dilakukan dengan pemahaman teori tuntutan tugas dan dukungan Bakker dan Demerouti serta teori motivasi diri Decy dan Ryan. Pengukuran dengan menggunakan metode SEM pada aplikasi Lisrel. Hasil pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa HRM engagement strategy dapat disertakan dalam rancang bangun keterikatan karyawan terkait dukungan dan tuntutan tugas yang dihadapi.
This thesis is the result of quantitative research that explains the meaningfulness of HRM engagement strategy in the design of job demands and job resources of self-determined motivation to the emergence of engagement. Research using sample at PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelaksana Pemeliharaan Semarang. The formulation is done by understanding the Job Demands-Resources theory of Bakker and Demerouti as well as selfdetermined motivation theory of Decy and Ryan. Measurement using SEM method in Lisrel application. The results of the discussion concluded that HRM engagement strategy can be included in the design of engagement related to the job resources and job demands of the tasks faced.
