Pengaruh Korean Wave terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Kosmetik Korea dengan Country Image sebagai Variabel Mediasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan mengetahui hubungan Korean wave terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan country image sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 150 orang pengguna kosmetik Korea yang pernah menonton drama/film atau mendengarkan musik Korea. Data didapat melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah path analysis dan sobel test untuk menguji pengaruh tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan jika Korean wave berpengaruh signifikan terhadap country image. Country image berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan Korean wave berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Country image juga dapat memediasi hubungan antara Korean wave dengan keputusan pembelian.

The purpose of this study is to examine and identify the relationship of Korean wave into the purchase decision using country image as the intervening variable. Participants were 150 people whom interested in Korean cosmetic and had watched Korean drama/film or listened to Korean music. Data were collected by valid and reliable online surveys. The analytical method used is path analysis and Sobel test to test the indirect effect. The study found that Korean wave significantly influences the country image. Both county image and Korean wave significantly influence its customer in making purchasing decision. Country image also could become mediation between Korean wave and costumer’s purchasing decision
